Government Affairs Committee (GAC)

Did you Know???

MOTA has a very active Government Affairs Committee (GAC) made up of members from a variety of areas of practice who volunteer their time to monitor legislation to support occupational therapy practice and the accessibility of services to our clients. In conjunction with our lobbyist, the GAC works to coordinate federal, state, and local activities. The committee meets monthly and welcomes new members from all practice areas. UPDATE: The MHCP Provider Manual – Rehabilitation Services has been updated. See Rehabilitative Service Codes for OT, PT and Speech-Language Pathology In the Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech-Language table has added CPT codes 97550, 97551, 97552 for rehabilitative services, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
