Speaker Biographies
Elizabeth Klocke is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy student at the University of South Dakota. She is currently completing her capstone project regarding pediatric sexual health and sexual health education for adolescents with disabilities in the Transition Options in Postsecondary Settings (TOPS) Program at the Ohio State University. Elizabeth will graduate from OT school in May and plans to move back to Minnesota and start working in pediatrics.

Rachel Hadges, OTDS, is currently in her 7th semester at the University of Minnesota’s Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program. She was initially interested in this topic for her capstone project. Her interest grew during an independent study as she used a social media platform to advocate and educate on the role of occupational therapy in sex and intimacy.

Anne Nelson, OTR/L, SCFES works at Mayo Clinic in Rochester in the mental health practice including inpatient, outpatient, biofeedback, and pain rehabilitation program (PRC) with part-time coverage of neuro dysphagia and brain/spine acute rehab. She began her OT career in rural healthcare at a critical access hospital. She completed the OT dysphagia fellowship at Mayo in 2019 and has since worked in various roles within the neuro, dysphagia, and mental health practices. She is interested in the intersections of chronic physical symptoms and mental health. Her interest in addressing sex and intimacy using the OT process began while working with people recovering from cardiac surgery. She currently addresses building healthy boundaries, communication, and physical moderation related to intimacy most often in a group context in the PRC program.
